Klarissa Rodriguez Mr.Desoto 5th period Career Research Paper My career research paper.I have chosen the career to be a nurse. I know I'm supposed to pick a particular kind of nurse but to me it really wouldn't matter as long as i am given an opportunity to help people in any way i possibly could. Nursing has always definitely been a number one choice since i was a little kid. I always used to play nurse with my friends and family. I would like to perform my career at a nursing home, hospital, or clinic or at any other available places close to houston tx. Some qualities I have is i have plenty of patience and i am fully committed to pursuing my dream as being a nurse. I am also planning on finding out more information about the career job i have chosen, that way i can be prepared in the future. I am not allergic to anything which will mean i will be good at not getting sick. I am always alerted when something isn't right. I am careful with all the important equipment i use. Which will be good when i have to use nurse equipment. I am a very organised person so i wouldn't mix anything up. I am great with people. I have intentions of helping others all the time even if i can't help myself. I strongly dislike when i see someone in pain and when i see someone in pain i try my best to help them as soon and helpful as possible. Also i been told that i am a great listener and always do as i am told. I do not get sick by seeing blood or by seeing an incredible infected area or a strongly sick person. I have no problem on stopping of what i want to do when it comes to work. I am willing to do everything in my power to make my dream/career as a nurse come true. I am the kind of person that takes work and people very seriously. I been told i know how to talk to and treat people with care. I know how to keep an area clean and i am a fast learner. I also am a good concentrator. What i can do to achieve this career is work hard at school. College can definitely help me become a nurse. I can study for the kind of nurse i want to be. Another thing i can do is give my all to master college and any other obstacle. I can focus on my career one hundred percent. There are four degrees for becoming the kind of nurse you want to be. The first one is Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) which is a degree which takes 2-3 years to complete. You can take it usually in a community colleges and nursing schools. The second degree is called Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). This degree is for additional clinical experiences which takes up to 4 years to get. The third degree is called Master of Science in Nursing (MSN). This degree prepares nurses to become nurse administrators, family nurse practitioners, and nurse educators. If you graduate from one of the nurse programs you will need to take the National Council Licensure Examination to get a nursing license. Why do i want to become a nurse? That is a very easy question. The question isn't why the real question is why not? Being a nurse is amazing. You get to help people from everywhere. You get to see people smile and thank you for helping them out. You learn news things. You go through new experiences. You learn that life is too short to worry about one thing. You get to meet new people and spend time with different people. You make new friends. You take care of people. You can save someones life. You will feel great knowing your saving someone and you will be happy to tell people that you are someones role model. You may even be somebodys hero/inspiration. What inspired me to have the dream of being a nurse? At first it was just because i was a kid and i went to the doctors office when i was young to get a shot and they were so nice and careful with me. This female nurse was checking me because i was sick and she gave me a lollipop. Another reason was because i like that little feeling i had of helping someone. As i grew older and still had the feeling of being a nurse i realised more things. Then it was just something i wanted to do because my sister and some family are/want to become nurses. After a while i realized i didn't want to do it for them but i much rather do it for me. I realised deep down it was something i really wanted to do ever since i was a little girl. I think the true reason i got inspired to be a nurse is because when i was just a newborn baby i had to be transferred from the hospital i was born into a different hospital because i was a premature baby. Why? Well when i was born my left ovary was the size of a yellow lemon which is bad for a newborn baby. The doctors had to remove my left ovary so they transferred me to another hospital and i had surgery done. If it wasnt for the doctor/nurse i probably wouldn't be here alive today. I probably wouldn't have had the chance to live, but i did. I am thankful everyday for that nurse/doctor saving my life. I got a chance just like everybody else because of them, because of their dedication to save me that very day. That story right there is the real reason on what inspired me to be a nurse. How can he do those terrible things to those people? How can he wake up in the morning knowing he is causuing other not to even have another day of life. I strongly dislike what has happened and i think he should be punished for everything, for all the things he did to all those innocent people.

who am i?

My parents got me to where i am today because they tought me very good when i was little. My parents tought me from wrong to right. I would like other people to know about me that i am a very trustworthy person that you can come to me for advice. My hopes are that i take my work a little more seriously than i usually do now. My desire is to go to college and have a very educational life. My dream is to go to all the places i been wanting to go to ever since i was little. I can help my brother and sister learn from my mistakes by giving them advice and making sure they are very well educated. I am Klarissa Rodriguez. I am a basketball player. I am the jealous type.
